Following an intense
but productive weekend of painting and modelling Squarg is finished! I’ll
follow up later this week with a posting on how I built up the base. It
features a few tricks and techniques that are well worth sharing.
The base definitely helps definite the model as a regular sized frog with a tiny goblin, not a giant fantasy frog mount. (At least thats the impression I get)
I would love to own this piece. It's absolutely beautiful and hits the right fantasy notes for me. And I'm usually not so much of a fan of fantasy, preferring steampunk and sci-fi. Amazing work.
Really looks like it's about to leap off for a scrap, and the shield is a fantastic touch!
ReplyDeleteLooks fantastic :)

Whats planned for your next project?
Beautiful. A mighty hunter of mice no doubt.
