Pie Clown - Finished!

The Pie Clown is finished! I've turned this piece around in a week from start to finish - the fastest I've ever painted a mini.
I really liked the idea of having a splash of red as an accent somewhere on him but once all the elements came together I didn't think it was needed as I really like the sepia scheme.

  1. That looks fantastic! I agree, the sepia/monochrome works very well, and you've executed it wonderfully. My only critique would be that the printed "Circus" right behind the clown looks to be a bit pixelated and could do with a little tidy up.

  2. Very nice work... with one exception. The pixelated quality of "circus" is a big distraction for me. The other signs are fine, so I'm not sure what's going on with that one.

  4. That is very cool, never seen a display mini painted in this way before. Verrry interesting! I think you were right to avoid the red, would have been jarring in a Schindler's List kind of way and would have broken the sepia photography vibe you had going. Nice work!
