  1. This is so perfect, it makes me want to cry! (Mainly because I'm not sure I'll ever attain such a high standard!)

This is such a great use of colour - the little tints in the armour and the hair are brilliant - and that's not even mentioning the patterning on the wings.

Genuinely, this is probably the best diorama I can ever remember seeing.

Dare I ask... how long did it take???

Thank you for sharing something as inspiring as this and well done on your win - thoroughly deserved!

    1. I couldn't even begin to guess how many hours this took but the work was carried out over a two year period. My first post for the project was back in July 2011.

  7. Congratulations!!! A well-served slayer sword. It was a real pleasure to take part in the development of this mind-blowing project... I am grateful that you shared your thoughts and the WIP befor going to the GD. In most cases people do not want to show their WIPs, which is a pity, I think. I really admire your works and your style!!! Keep it on...really looking for more to come. Thx a lot! ^^
    Best regards,
    Skyle

  8. What a pleasure it is to see your work again after so many years. I still admire your early Golden Demon entries and was lucky enough to see some in the flesh in the Southampton branch of Games Workshop circa 1989/90. This piece is breathtaking; I can't really sum it up more than that. Winning the grand prize again after such a long time is like a fairy tale, almost. I was trying to explain this to my girlfriend the other day but it was kind of lost on her! Flawless work, here. Absolutely magnificent!!!!!
